Vision
To advocate the acceptance of professional healthcare clowns as an integrated partner in the circle of care by creating an internationally accepted standard for the work that can be monitored and supported by the North American Federation of Healthcare Clown Organizations.
Mission
NAFHCO aims to advance the field of healthcare clowning by establishing and maintaining professional standards, enhancing the professional growth and development of members, thereby advancing the credibility of the healthcare clown profession. We plan to do so by setting and complying to an international quality standard, fostering research and promoting the efficacy of humor in healing.
Values
